Are Miracles Possible?
The short answer is: Yes.
Much has been written about miracles over the centuries. But I’ll offer a brief response that I believe is pretty air tight.
First, let’s admit that if the God of the Bible exists, then miracles are possible. Because if he wanted to intervene in natural events, he could.
Now here is the rest. If it is even just possible that God exists, then miracles are possible, right? Maybe let that sink in for a minute. We’re just asking if miracles are possible. And if it’s possible that God is out there, it means miracles must be possible.
So one would have to prove that God does not exist to argue decisively that miracles are not possible. Yet, no one has ever been able to prove that God does not exist.
Miracles are possible.
So what do you do with a miracle claim? Well, you investigate it like any other historical event. You look for the evidence. If there isn’t enough evidence to support it, then it’s okay to be skeptical.
That’s reasonable enough isn’t it?
By the way, do you know anybody who claims they have experienced a miracle?
Yes, I had a miracle.

I love that line…”no one has ever been able to prove that God does not exist.”
